This service applies to projects in Canada. Engineering design services are delivered in partnership with BMAC.
An Electrical Planning Report is a broader document that evaluates the entire building’s electrical systems to ensure they meet current and future operational requirements.
Purpose
To provide a complete assessment of the building’s electrical infrastructure, including service size, load distribution, panel capacities, and safety compliance.
Scope
Covers lighting, mechanical systems, life-safety systems, renewable energy integration (for example, solar), and emerging loads like EV charging.
Regulatory Context
Prepared in accordance with the electrical code of the province where the building is located, along with municipal bylaws and utility requirements. We work with your electrical utility on any service upgrade, for example BC Hydro in British Columbia.
Deliverable
A detailed engineering report with load calculations, upgrade recommendations, and a staged implementation plan, often required for permit applications or capital planning.
