Project Spotlight:

College Physical Replacement Building, Struere Advanced Architecture, 1111 East Artesia Boulevard, CA 90221-5393

Project Type:

New Build

Facility:

Educational – Higher Learning

Scope:

Full-Building HVAC & Mechanical Systems

Software Used:

Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud

Final Deliverables:

Revit Model, DWG, PDF Sheets, Navisworks NWD

Our team took part in the development of mechanical systems for a newly constructed educational building designed to serve college-level programs. The scope encompassed full-building HVAC layout, as well as detailed modeling of mechanical piping and ductwork systems.

What We Did:

Beyond modeling, we held an active coordination role within the broader multidisciplinary team. Using Autodesk Construction Cloud for issue tracking, and Navisworks for model clash detection, we ensured early identification and resolution of system conflicts. The coordination process was proactive and iterative, focused on maintaining clean spatial integration across all building systems.

All documentation and models were prepared to a high level of detail, aligned with project standards and ready for use in both construction and facility management.

Final deliverables included:

  • Revit model
  • AutoCAD DWG drawings
  • PDF drawing sheets
  • Navisworks NWD files

Scope Highlights:

  • 3D modeling of HVAC, ductwork, and mechanical piping across the full building footprint
  • Real-time issue tracking and resolution via ACC
  • Clash detection and coordination with electrical, plumbing, and structural teams
  • Full technical documentation delivered on time

Client feedback was very positive, with praise for both the technical accuracy and the coordination management we provided throughout the project.
